ユーザ設定の変更
ユーザの設定を変更するには

usermod [オプション] ユーザ名

を実行します。このとき、ログイン中のユーザのユーザ名を変更することは出来ません。
例えばcentosというユーザのプライマリグループをftpというグループに変更する場合は

usermod -g ftp centos

と実行します。グループの確認は

id cnetos

と実行します。
UIDを変更するときの注意
UIDを変更する場合は、該当ユーザのプロセスが一つも動作していないことを確認してからおこないます。
プロセスの確認方法は

ps -U ユーザ名

と実行します。
